Hi, my name is Karen Mathews.
I am the owner and Head Coach of the High Desert Acrobrats Recreational & Competitive Gymnastics Training Facility. I have been involved in Gymnastics since the age of 6, and have been coaching for over 35 years. My goal is to build a sense of confidence, self-esteem, and strength through training in every child who enters into my program. I feel this is best accomplished through a fun learning experience. We are blessed with an amazing group of talented, energetic and compassionate coaches who work for us; all of them are trained through the USAGF Coaches Training, hold current CPR and First Aide certifications and hold Amateur Athletic Union Coach's cards.
We are proud to offer the "Fun and Fit Gymnastics" program here at Acrobrats. This is a progressive and motivational curriculum that is used to achieve more student accomplishments and class advancement. All students are assessed on an ongoing basis and periodically moved according to individual ability and progression. As an added bonus, all registered Acrobrats (regardless of age or level) are offered the opportunity to perform at various shows and parades throughout the High Desert area.

1 - Competition pommel horse, 3 - Female regulation competition beams,
1 - Regulation competition swivel ring set, 2 - Female regulation competition bar,
1 - Male training mushroom, 1 - 20 ft. training rope, &
Misc. Matting and training equipment (too numerous to mention), plus Misc. Pre-school equipment
